Wayne Turns 30!

Wayne turned the big 3-0!

Sadly, on his birthday he was at school,

taking tests, sitting in a 8 hour class, and then

studying. We were able to make it to a delicious dinner

and that's about it, but little did Wayne know, we were going

CELEBRATE on Saturday! Saturday started off early. We woke

up, dropped Sam off at our friends and drove to Dutton Island to

do ourselves a little kayaking! Sadly we didn't see the dolphins we

were promised, or manatees, BUT we did see some birds, and crabs,

got stuck in the marsh, and watched Wayne thigh high emerged in mud. 

Seriously at the time I wasn't laughing, but now I think it's hilarious. 

We did thoroughly enjoy ourselves, and the adventure we most definitively got.

After Kayaking, Wayne took a LONG nap. This old man was tuckered out!

What was in store next for him.... Rock Climbing! 

I needed to get Wayne out of the house for a couple of hours, so some 

friends of Wayne's were awesome enough to take him rocking climbing.

While he was gone, my dear friend Lindley and I were hard at work

preparing for the SURPRISE PARTY!

Party theme: Wayne

For anyone who really knows Wayne, he has like a billion hobbies.

There is nothing he hasn't tried, and has the equipment to do ANYTHING!

So everyone that came to the party was assigned a different side of Wayne.

I for example was Rugby Wayne.

We also had:

Nurse Wayne, Fishing Wayne, Hunting Wayne, Football Wayne,

Missionary Wayne, Cowboy Wayne and so forth.

Everyone was given a mask of Wayne's face to complete their

costume. I sadly was running around the whole time that I didn't get

any pictures! I am so upset about it! So what you see it what you get.

On top of the costumes, we also enjoyed Wayne's ALL TIME

favorite food. NACHOS! Everyone seemed to enjoy it. And

for anyone looking to do an easy, cheap food idea for a party,

a nacho bar seriously is the WAY TO GO! 

There were also games, and lots of laughing! It truly

turned out perfect. I was so happy, and Wayne was surprised for the

most part. Up until his buddies that took him rock climbing decided to

park the car and come inside with him... he was a little confused, and

asked, "are you guys giving me a surprise party or something?"

Yes we did! Happy 30th birthday Wayne.
