Summer Part 2 (catch up)

New years eve resolution, KEEP UP with this BLOG!

The rest of our summer was spent in Spokane at my parents house. We enjoyed the company of my sister Emily and her 2 little boys as well. There is no better place for a vacation than at my parents home. It.is.beautiful.

My house on the hill

The boys spent their days outside jumping on the trampoline, riding the jeep,
riding bikes, throwing rocks in the pond, and getting DIRTY. My mom took
Sam and I raspberry picking. Sam did little picking, and LOTS of eating. I may have
joined him. Another popular activity was driving in the golf cart searching for deer.
Needless to say, it was always a success.

Of course we spent a great deal of time out on the boat. Is there anything better?
The boys loved to fight over who got to sit on the "captains" lap and drive.
Even though the water was FREEZING is still felt refreshing.

Emily and I took the kids on a road trip to Boise to visit our other sister
Natalie. They live in the most beautiful home, with a perfect little neighborhood
where children are running around everywhere, riding bikes, eating popsicles,
and not stuck inside watching tv. We could have stayed there for a month.
The kids had so much fun, and of course us sisters enjoyed our
late night chats under the pergola, laughing and reminiscing.
The only thing it was missing was our other sister Abby.... Next time...

On our way back from Boise we stopped by to see my Grandma Severe.
Sadly this was the only photo that I got. It's hard to keep 3 boys still.

Before our trip was over, my dearest friend Sabrina took some pictures
of Sam and his cousins. Of course they turned out, as they always do.
I think we were all out of breath after trying to hunt them down in
the HUGE haystacks. Picture taking is always an adventure!

Visiting Spokane is always one of the highlights of the
year, and even though it is hard to leave my family, and friends, I can't
wait to get back to Wayne in Florida. I think he usually misses me too....
